EPLEGAL SR PARTNER ATTENDDING PCA VIET NAM CONFERENCE

On 15 November 2023, the Permanent Court of Arbitration (PCA), together with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Vietnam Society of International Law hold the “PCA VIETNAM CONFERENCE” with the special participation of representatives of the PCA, Chief Justice of the Supreme People’s Court, and many other experts.

One of the notable sessions, “Exploring Confidence-Building Measures Between States: The Timor Sea Conciliation in Retrospect” delved into the Timor Sea Conciliation with distinguished panelists, including H.E. Mr. Peter Taksøe-Jensen, Ambassador of Denmark to Japan, and Ms. Elizabeth Exposto, CEO of Timor-Leste’s Land and Maritime Boundary Office.

The conference continued with an engaging session “Current Issues and Trends in International Investment Law” moderated by H.E. Mr. Nguyen Khanh Ngoc, Deputy Minister of Justice of the Government of Vietnam. 

The day concluded with a fireside chat titled “Examining the Commercial Arbitration Landscape in Vietnam” featuring insightful discussions with international arbitration practitioners.
